Trish Torline
Trish Torline is a multi-instrumental composer, singer/songwriter and performer currently based in Kentucky. She graduated from the University of Kentucky in Lexington, Kentucky with a Bachelor of Music Education and received her Master’s in Music Education from Georgetown College in Georgetown, Kentucky.
Trish was a middle school band director for 22 years. During this time, she noticed a lack of new music written specifically for the young musician in Solo and Ensemble performance. To correct this void, Trish started composing pieces for her students to perform. After retiring from teaching in 2019, at the urging of respected colleges, she started reaching out to music publishers in hopes of publishing the pieces she had written to make them available to more people. Her catalogue includes compositions for wind instruments, piano, guitar, and choir.
Trish’s compositions have been played by middle and high school musicians across the country.
Trish maintains a busy schedule as a private teacher, guest clinician, performer, and continues to compose fresh new music for today’s musicians in all levels of growth.
